For the second largest bus fleet in North America, Tenco developed and implemented a Connected Bus Display (CBD) pilot demonstration on the Metro Orange Line (MOL), the purpose of which is to allow buses to efficiently run on the MOL with fewer stops and more consistent speed. CBD software combines LADOT-supplied real-time street signal data with onboard bus GPS tracking data to optimize bus travel though MOL intersections.
