Tenco developed and deployed special purpose software onto existing LA Metro wireless routers to gather real-time once per second GPS data feeds for G-Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service. Tenco used the data to find intersection approach speed and acceleration profiles, identifying locations for best Transit Signal Priority (TSP). Tenco developed recommendations for TSP signal configuration changes to improve G-Line performance, reduce travel time, and smooth the rider experience.
