Tenco represented the LA Metro’s Fire Life Safety team for system integration, testing, and inspection on the 8.5 mi light rail line extension to the LAX International Airport. Tenco engineers verified as-built and as-tested project compliance with contract documents; Fire Life Safety design criteria; local, state, and national safety codes; and all applicable requirements. Tenco performed engineering analysis for complex questions of code and compliance. System integration and compliance verification tests covered all systems, including Train Control, Traction Power, OCS, Communications, Security, CCTV, Ventilation, Fire, and Rolling Stock interfaces.
