LA Metro is finishing a 1.9 mile light Regional Connector rail line connecting LA Metro west side A and E light rail lines to the east side L light rail Line and the subway and commuter hub at Union Station. The Regional Connector will deliver seamless journeys from Azusa to Long Beach, and from East LA to Santa Monica. Tenco represents the LA Metro’s Fire Life Safety team for system integration, testing, and inspection. Tenco engineers verified as-built and as-tested project compliance with contract documents; Fire Life Safety design criteria; local, state, and national safety codes; and all applicable requirements. System integration and compliance verification tests cover all systems, including Train Control, Traction Power, OCS, Communications, Security, CCTV, Ventilation, Fire, and Rolling Stock interfaces.
