NYCT is procuring new Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) to replace its original and extended train control systems, on a succession of lines. Tenco staff managed and directed the ISA work for NYCT for the Canarsie, Flushing, and Culver Test Track lines. Tenco provided technical expertise on CBTC, train control, safety-critical hardware and software development, verification methodologies, and results assessment.
