Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) commissioned diesel multiple units for new commuter lines between north Sonoma County and south Marin County in the Bay Area. Tenco performed all car-level reliability, safety, EMC, and software documentation and control tasks, and worked closely with the engineering department and suppliers to make sure the designs fully and safely implemented the required performance and functionality specifications.
