X-Alert Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Warning
Tenco and a major navigation map company developed the X-Alert™ Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Warning service, which feeds real-time grade crossing data to third-party maps. Presently, major map apps like Google and Apple show grade crossing locations, but do not provide information on train approach. X-Alert uses the real-time grade crossing data and these map apps to provide drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists with a real-time warning as they approach an active grade crossing. X-Alert can reduce hazards, delays, and accidents and their costs.
